The common factor of all TORRAVAL cooling towers is fiberglass, an excellent plastic material to ensure the durability of the cooling equipment.
An example of the use of this technical characteristic was that of an important Russian salt producer, which had to renovate different areas of its plant in the Tula region of Central European Russia.
THE CHALLENGE
The highly corrosive environment required the use of machines without metal components.
THE SOLUTION
Three PMS-type open circuit towers were selected together with Industry Group in charge of the project engineering, as they represent a very suitable option for industrial processes with low water flows. The cooling unit is made of fiberglass which provides the following advantages:
