Torraval Cooling creates a service to disinfect and clean cooling equipments
The manufacturer, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2017, applies its specialization as a manufacturer to ensure a correct operation and to lengthen durability of installations.
The disinfection and cleaning of cooling towers has become a priority objective for Torraval Cooling, a manufacturer of cooling solutions, which has created a new service for disinfection, cleaning and overhaul of cooling facilities. In doing so, the company offers a service specialized in this field provided by an own professional and qualified team, that counts on more than 12,000 facilities installed all over the world.
The service of disinfection and cleaning was set up to give answer to a reality that his professional team has verified in routine inspections: deterioration caused by an inadequate cleaning and maintenance with poorly executed procedures, which not only it does not guarantee disinfection, but also causes corrosion processes of equipments materials.
In response to this situation, Torraval has created this new service, carried out by technical staff in charge of review of cooling installations. The protocol involves disinfection and cleaning performed by specialists who guarantee the correct functioning of the facilities and their durability, using the appropriate and approved products. The company is also certified by the Official Register of Biocides Establishment (ROESB), for which it provides authorized and approved services.
The service deals with the disinfection and cleaning with different media and methodologies, using oxidizing and non-oxidizing biodispersers and biocides, both in stoppage plant and in continuous production of it. At the same time, it carries out the review of the installation and issues the corresponding biannual certificate according to Royal Decree 865/2003, which establishes the hygienic-sanitary criteria for the prevention and control of legionellosis. Necessary revisions are performed in order to comply with the provisions of Annex 4A of the aforementioned Royal Decree, regarding the revision of all parts of the installation, guaranteeing the traceability of actions and maintenance interventions on cooling towers.
